Community Development
The Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre works collaboratively with the other Neighbourhood Houses in our region, including Wendouree Neighbourhood Centre, Ballarat East Neighbourhood House and Ballarat North Neighbourhood House. We also have a strong and diverse network of partner organisations and proactively design programs and services in response to the needs of our Community.
Together the Neighbourhood Houses bring people together to connect, learn and contribute in their local community through social, educational, recreational and support activities, using a unique community development approach.
Get Involved
Neighbourhood Houses welcome people from all walks of life. This inclusive approach creates opportunities for individuals and groups to enrich their lives through connections they might not otherwise make, strengthening networks and building social capital.

We work in partnership with the City of Ballarat and local community groups and businesses to deliver place based community projects.
