Members & Volunteers
Members
Neighbourhood Houses welcome people from all walks of life. This inclusive approach creates opportunities for individuals and groups to enrich their lives through connections they might not otherwise make, strengthening networks and building social capital.
If you want to be more involved in the decision making of our organisation then maybe think about becoming a Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre (BNC) member.
As a BNC member, you are entitled to attend and have voting rights at our General Meetings. You are also welcome to have input on our future strategic direction and planning.
Membership is FREE so if you are interested in membership have a chat to the Executive Officer (EO) to find out more or submit the below membership form to the EO.
Volunteers
Would you like to volunteer with us or get involved in your local community? As a small not-for-profit organisation, we always welcome a little extra help in a wide range of areas including but not limited to:
- Reception and Administration
- Community Gardens
- Community Newsletter Deliveries
- Kitchen Assistants, and
- for our Community Events and Activities.
Full details of our volunteer opportunities and information on how to become a volunteer are included on the Volunteer Expression of Interest form below.
