Book a Room

The following general rules and conduct are required from any organisation or individual using the facility:

  • The Hirer will organise their own insurances, permits, comply with WorkSafe obligations and other legal requirements for the event or activity they are holding
  • All Hirers are required to comply with the Victorian Child Safe Standards, including ensuring appropriate Working with Children Checks and other screening requirements and training.
  • All Hirers are responsible for leaving the facility as they found it. A cleaning fee will be applied if the floors, tables, benches, chairs etc are not cleaned and tables and chairs replaced in their original positions.
  • All rubbish is to be removed by the Hirer and not left on site or in the rubbish bins.
  • When hiring the commercial kitchen, the Hirer will ensure appropriate Food Safety Compliance and hold their own business kitchen registration.  No user is permitted to rely on the Hub's Certificate of Registration.
  • NOTE: Booking the BSCH function room does not include use of the Commercial Kitchen or College Oval. The Oval is private property and not available for hire.

Ballarat South Community Hub Rooms

At the Ballarat South Community Hub (BSCH) we have the following rooms available to hire:

NOTE: Booking the function room or other Ballarat South Coummunity Hub rooms does not include use of the College Oval. The Oval is the private property of Phoenix P12 Community College and not available for hire.

Room O10

Computer Lab
(4m x 7.5m)- (6 computers) - after hours only 

Room O30

Classroom / Meeting Room
(6.7m x 7.5m) - seats up to 10 people 

Room O50

Computer Lab
(4m x 7.5m) - (9 computers) 

Room O60

Small meeting room
(4.5m x 3.7m)
(Only available after hours and on weekends) 

Room O70

Classroom / Meeting Room
(6.7m x7.5m) - seats up to 15 people, includes Digital Whiteboard and Projector (must request at time of booking) 

Room N40

Half Function Room 1
(12.5m x10m) - has a wall mounted TV and seats 50-80 people theatre style

Room N50

Half Function Room 2
(12.5m x10m) (adjacent to Commercial Kitchen) - seats 50-80 people theatre style

Kitchenette

The Hub Kitchenette is available to all users of the building. There is no fee for using the Kitchenette.

Room N60 (Kitchen)

Registered Commercial Kitchen
(4.5m 8.6m) - designed to allow catering for large functions. There is a seperate fee for using the Kitchen which must be booked seperately to the function room.

N40 & N50

Whole Function Room (excl Kitchen)
(12.5m x 20m) - seats 180 people theatre style. There is direct access to the Commercial Kitchen however the Commercial Kitchen (N60) must be booked seperately to the Function Room. The Oval is not included in any Hub booking.

Room Inclusions & Applications

All rooms have heating / air-conditioning; wall mounted white-boards; and access to tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms are provided with the required chairs and tables. Large televisions are available on request at time of booking.

All Hirers must

  • comply with the conditions of use requirements and
  • return a signed Conditions of Use Form AND a Hire Application Form.

Delacombe Community Hub Rooms

At the Delacombe Community Hub we have the following rooms available to hire:

All rooms have heating / air-conditioning; wall mounted white-boards; and access to tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms are provided with the required chairs and tables.

All Hirers must
