The Ballarat Golden Gal's is a welcoming social group designed for women over 50 years old. The group meets every Monday morning in a relaxed and safe environment, providing an opportunity for connection and friendship among members of the community.
Modelled on the Chatty Cafe concept, the Ballarat Golden Gal's offers a space where everyone can feel comfortable, whether you’re attending alone, with a friend, or if you’re a carer who would like to bring along the person you care for. The group encourages open, respectful conversation and shared laughter, fostering a sense of belonging for all.
When: Weekly at drop in from 10.00am - 12:00pm Mondays. From time to time the Golden Gal's meet in other locations for meals and daytrips. Please check with BNC office to confirm locations away from the Centre if you plan to attend.
- 18th November 2025: 10.30am -12.30pm - Eureka Centre for coffee
- 8th December 2025: 12pm - 2.30pm - Ballarat Golf Club for Christmas lunch celebration
Where: We meet at the Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre, 11 Tuppen Drive, Sebastopol. There is ample parking and the venue has disability access.
Note: some weeks the group will spend time away visiting other locations and events. If you are attending for the first time, contact the Centre to confirm the location hasn't changed for the Monday you are planning to attend.
Who: All welcome.
Cost: A gold coin donation with tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
